Askyanya is known for being a labor of love, for they have employed more than 3,000 Haitian farmers in their business. Their chocolates are made with natural ingredients sourced directly from Haitian farmers and handcrafted in Haiti by women. Les Chocolateries Askanya is Haiti’s first premier bean-to-bar chocolate company. It exclusively uses Haitian cacao to produce their chocolate.

Over the past few years, A Dozen Cousins has dedicated itself to community support through various initiatives, starting in 2019 with a partnership with The Sustainable Food Center's Happy Kitchen/La Cocina Alegre, sponsoring cooking and nutrition classes for 50 families, emphasizing budget-friendly and culturally relevant education. In 2020, the brand made an in-kind donation to Project Potluck, supporting People of Color in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, alongside Beanfields and Mason Dixie Foods. The following year, 2021, saw A Dozen Cousins donating proceeds from their "Kitchen Collection," curated by Latina artists for Hispanic Heritage Month, to the Los Angeles Community Fridges, supporting a volunteer-run network of public refrigerators that facilitates food sharing among community members in need. Through these actions, A Dozen Cousins has showcased its commitment to nourishing communities, fostering diversity, and promoting sustainability.

Beautiful Curly Me was founded on a mission to empower every young black girls everywhere. Beautiful Curly Me is a celebration of the magic of curly hair, dreams and abilities and all the things that make young black and brown girls special. It aims to develop positive self esteem in young girls and to help them become more self-confident. The company was co-founded by an 8-year-old girl, who has gone through a time when she didn't like her hair and now wants to encourage girls everywhere to celebrate their precious tresses.

The founder of EcoDaisy wanted to ensure the products were healthy for both the consumer to use and breathe in. She also focused on their environmental impact, specifically for aquatic life.

In addition, they support access to essentials like eyeglasses and clean water, making their mission as much about social impact as it is about ethical beauty products.

Partake, under the leadership of Denise, a Black & Asian American woman, is deeply committed to enhancing the visibility of Black and female entrepreneurship and broadening the horizon for underrepresented individuals aspiring to careers in the food and beverage industry. In 2020, Denise initiated the Black Futures in Food & Beverage, an annual fellowship program designed to mentor students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This impactful program aims to guide these students towards securing internships and job opportunities by the conclusion of the fellowship, thereby opening doors and fostering a more inclusive and diverse industry landscape.

Michelle Robinson, founder of DEMIblue Clean and Vegan Nail Polish, was inspired by her mother’s battle with cancer. What began as a heartfelt effort to support her mom’s wellness journey evolved into DEMIblue, a clean beauty brand dedicated to empowering and uplifting underrepresented women in the health and wellness community. Today, DEMIblue operates as a nonprofit organization, advocating for breast cancer awareness while continuing to educate consumers about the harmful toxins found in many conventional nail polishes—and providing a healthier, cleaner, and more conscious alternative.

The organization’s consultants, speakers, and educators have extensive experience in training, research, and practice focused on the intersections of popular culture and education. With expertise in connecting hip-hop to disciplines such as STEM, English, counseling, school leadership, and wellness, they work to bridge cultural relevance with academic rigor. Through in-person and virtual professional development sessions, keynotes, and trainings, the team equips educators, administrators, and community leaders with tools that use hip-hop culture and philosophy to enhance learning, engagement, and leadership.
Each year, the organization also hosts the HipHopEd Conference and a series of smaller events that bring together educators and learners from around the world to share best practices in teaching and innovation. In addition, the team partners with institutions to design and redesign integrated curriculums that provide students with dynamic, culturally rich, and academically challenging learning experiences across multiple subject areas.

Established in 2016, the Zandra TLC Foundation operates as a 501(c)3 organization with a primary mission of educating and empowering girls and women worldwide, particularly focusing on underserved communities. The foundation's vision is to encourage girls between the ages of 6 and 19 to envision possibilities beyond their current circumstances. This is achieved through exposure to a range of opportunities in career choices, health, wellness, S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), and entrepreneurship.
The Zandra TLC Foundation firmly believes that girls possess the potential to create transformative impacts within their families, communities, and even on a global scale.
