Niles + Chaz is a children's clean hair care brand created for kids with mixed-textured hair, founded by husband-and-wife duo Mike Colter and Iva Colter. Mike, widely known for his role as Luke Cage in the Netflix series, and Iva, a former major Hollywood studio senior executive, launched the brand after years of searching for clean, effective products that actually worked for their daughters' mixed-texture hair. Unable to find what they needed, they built it themselves.
Named after their daughters Niles and Chaz — who serve as co-founders and active participants in the brand — the line was designed from the ground up to celebrate diverse curl patterns, mixed-ethnic heritage, and the natural beauty of every child. With the rallying slogan "Hair I Am!", the brand is on a mission to help young girls and boys embrace their unique curls and take pride in who they are.
