Caribbean Roots. Medical Training. Skin Care That Actually Works.

Bomani Beauty MD is a vegan skincare and cosmetics company founded by three sisters who are also practicing physicians. They grew up learning plant based remedies from their Caribbean elders, and after finishing their medical residencies they combined that inherited knowledge with clinical training to build the brand they had always wanted for their own families.

Every product started as a personal project. The sisters formulated each one to solve a real skin or hair concern belonging to someone they loved, from eczema and psoriasis to alopecia, hyperpigmentation, and scarring. That origin still shapes the line today. The collection covers moisturizers, body butters, conditioners, hair oils, lip glosses, and lipsticks, all built to be non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and safe enough for the whole family, including children.

The sisters formulate, produce, label, and package everything in house at their Cleveland studio. No third party manufacturers, no drop shipping, no surprise additives. Creams and lotions ship in recyclable glass jars, and every formula is vegan and cruelty free. That level of control is unusual for a beauty brand of any size, and it is the reason customers with allergies and reactive skin keep coming back.

Bomani Beauty MD has taken its formulas well beyond Cleveland, with appearances at Essence Festival, BeautyCon, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Legislative Conference, and hundreds of markets and community events, plus television and press features along the way.

DO GOOD, BE GOOD

See How This Brand Does Good For You

And For The Community

Bomani Beauty MD answers a gap that dermatology has left open for generations. Black and brown patients living with eczema, psoriasis, alopecia, and hyperpigmentation are routinely underserved, both in clinical research and on retail shelves. Three Black women physicians formulating for those exact conditions changes who gets seen. The brand keeps its price points accessible on purpose, with products starting at five dollars, so that clean and effective care does not stay locked behind a luxury tier.

The commitment carries through to how the products are made. Everything is vegan and cruelty free, formulated in small batches by hand, and packaged in recyclable glass rather than single use plastic. Producing in house keeps the supply chain short and the ingredient list honest, and it keeps the jobs and the craft inside a Black owned business rooted in its own community.
