Zandra Cunningham's journey as a young entrepreneur began at the age of nine when her father's refusal to buy her lip balm inspired her to create her own products. She started by selling chemical-free, plant-based whipped shea body butter and lip balms under the brand Azariah’s Innocence at her local farmer’s market in the summer of 2010.

Her mission was to develop products that smelled delightful, kept skin soft without causing irritation, and offered a natural alternative to the commercial products filled with unhealthy ingredients.

Zandra Beauty has now expanded to offer a range of 50 skincare products, including deodorant, makeup remover, body wash, and artisan soap bars. The brand is committed to empowering young girls to explore their interests in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) through its "Science Behind It" program.
